Former Fiji Airways Men's National 7s halfback Terio Tamani will form the halves combination with fly-half Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula as new Flying Fijians coach Jake White looks to reignite the sleeping giant of Fiji Rugby when they face Japan in a Test match this Saturday.
White has named a formidable side to face the Brave Blossoms, with the assistance of his coaching staff, despite having spent only a short time with the team.
The Rugby World Cup-winning coach says players must earn their places in the team and work hard to wear the white jersey with pride.
White says he has spent just one week with the squad and is still getting to know the players.
However, he says the players have embraced everything introduced this week and there is no shortage of energy within the team.
White believes he can provide what Fiji Rugby needs and says the timing is right for him to take on the challenge of rebuilding the team and restoring its standing on the global stage.
He adds that there is plenty at stake this weekend as Fiji prepares to take on Japan's Brave Blossoms.
Fiji will play Japan at 5.50pm this Saturday in Tokyo.
