A driver is in Police custody after his vehicle’s wheel tax was found to have expired, and he was also found without a valid driver’s licence.
Police say the driver was driving in a dangerous and suspicious manner near the Government Buildings this morning and almost collided with a Police truck as he drove away.
A Police vehicle in the vicinity then pursued the vehicle in a high-speed chase towards Harris Road.
Police say the vehicle and its occupants were searched, but nothing was found.

Two people were seen walking around the vehicle while officers removed items from the parked vehicle.
