A 25-year-old man charged with allegedly raping another 25-year-old man in 2025 will take his plea before the Suva High Court this Friday.
The accused appeared before Judge Justice Daniel Goundar, where he informed the court that he had not applied for Legal Aid assistance as a lawyer was present in court today.
He also told the court that he wished to represent himself.
However, Justice Goundar told the accused that he could not represent himself at this stage.
The man is charged with two counts of rape and one count of breach of a suspended sentence.
