One of three suspects involved in a daylight burglary in the Nasinu area has been arrested.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Kasiano Vusonilawe says the suspect was arrested in Nailuva Road and is now in custody at the Valelevu Police Station.
ACP Vusonilawe says the suspect will also be questioned in relation to other pending cases of a similar nature.
The search continues for the other two suspects.
Meanwhile, ACP Vusonilawe says divisional operations teams are taking concerns regarding robberies, burglaries and petty crimes seriously.
He says more targeted operations will be conducted to ensure Police are proactive rather than reactive, particularly during the school holidays and major events across Fiji.
