26-year-old Semisi Nasaroa has reached a major milestone after becoming the first in his family to attain a postgraduate qualification while balancing full-time work and part-time studies.
Nasaroa, who is from Lekutulevu, Vaturova in Cakaudrove, graduated from the University of the South Pacific with a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Accounting.

He says his parents have been his greatest supporters, standing by him from day one through to his graduation.
Nasaroa is a senior auditor at Ernst & Young and says the journey was challenging, with time management being one of his biggest difficulties.
He says balancing deadlines from his full-time job with his part-time studies was not easy, but he remained determined and continued pushing forward.
