Navua FC will head into the 2026 Extra Battle of the Giants hoping to end a 21-year wait for their second BOG title.
The Southerners last lifted the trophy in 2005 when the Gurjit Singh-coached side defeated Rewa 1-0 in the final in Suva.
While Navua have experienced the joy of winning the tournament once, they have also endured heartbreak, finishing runners-up on three occasions.
They lost 2-1 to Suva in the 1995 final, before Rewa defeated them 1-0 in 2010.
Their most recent appearance in the final came in 2023, when Labasa beat them 2-1 after extra time.
With another opportunity now ahead, Navua will take the field at Four R Stadium, Govind Park in Ba hoping to add a second BOG title to their history.
Head coach Roderick Singh has stressed the importance of consistency as the side prepares for the tournament.
