Tagimoucia Nadi, who are out of the Extra Supermarket Battle of the Giants race, managed to secure their first win by beating Group B leaders and semi-finalists Stratum/PPCL Rewa 1-0 at 4R Stadium in Govind Park, Ba.
Brian Charittar scored the only goal of the match for Nadi.
Rewa and Global Care Suva have already secured their places in the semi-finals.
Suva also booked its spot despite suffering a 2-1 defeat to Nasinu earlier today.
The result eliminated Blue Gas Navua from semi-final contention, while Nasinu’s qualification hopes depend on the outcome of the match between Navua and defending champions Extra Supermarket Labasa.
Labasa needs at least four clear goals to secure a place in the semi-finals.
Labasa is currently leading Navua 2-0.
In the final pool match of the tournament, hosts Dayal’s Steel Ba will take on Khelvin Engineering Lautoka at 5.30pm.
