Good news for Unit Trust of Fiji investors as UTOF declares its biggest-ever interim dividend payout, distributing $9.19 million following strong investment performance.
UTOF Chairlady Lavenia Kaumaitotoya has announced that investors in the Income and Growth Fund will receive a dividend of 4.00 cents per unit for the six-month period ending 30 June 2026.
She saays the dividend represents a total distribution of approximately $8.46 million to investors in the fund and forms part of the record interim payout of $9.19 million across UTOF's funds.
Kaumaitotoya says the declaration reflects the quality of UTOF's investment portfolio and the effectiveness of its long-term investment strategy.
She says the strong result had been achieved through careful asset selection, active portfolio management, strategic diversification and disciplined capital allocation.
According to Kaumaitotoya, these strategies have enabled UTOF to consistently enhance returns while maintaining portfolio stability.
She says the outcome was a strong and sustainable earnings base that continues to benefit investors year after year.
