Commonwealth Games medal-winners Taniela Rainibogi and Jasmine Daunakamakama will receive cash rewards for their achievement at the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
Rainibogi will receive $15,000 for his gold medal achievement, while Daunakamakama will be awarded $5,000 after becoming the first Fijian woman to win a boxing medal.
Minister for Youth and Sports Jese Saukuru made the announcement during the Team Fiji Thanksgiving Dinner at the Holiday Inn.
Saukuru says the Government rewards will be paid directly into the respective bank accounts of the two athletes.
