The Lautoka Rugby team will not be relying on their win over Tailevu last weekend as they head into Round 9 of the Skipper Cup competition this Saturday.
Lautoka edged Tailevu 27-22 last Saturday at Ratu Cakobau Park, handing Tailevu its first loss of the season.
Lautoka lock Viliame Senileba says they will not be taking Taveuni lightly, as they are also a strong team.
He says they expect a physical encounter when they meet Taveuni at Wairiki.
The lock also acknowledged the support from the Vanua and families throughout their Skipper Cup campaign and is calling on fans to come out in numbers to show their support for the team.
Lautoka is sitting in ninth place with 15 points on the points table, while Taveuni is in eighth place with 16 points.
Lautoka will meet Taveuni at 3pm Saturday at Wairiki School Grounds.
In other matches, Nadi will meet Malolo at King Charles Park, Tailevu will host Suva at Nakelo School Grounds, Ba will take on Rewa at 4R Electric Govind Park, Naitasiri will face Nadroga at Ratu Cakobau Park, and Navosa will meet Kadavu at Lawaqa Park.
All matches will kick off at 3pm.
