The Constitution Review Commission Report has been tabled in Parliament where the Commission proposes major constitutional changes, including a 60-seat bicameral Parliament, 15-member Cabinet, two-term limits for the Prime Minister and President, and removal of coup-related immunity.
It also recommends changes to FICAC, the military’s constitutional role, electoral structures, citizenship, official languages, religious freedom and the use of the term “Fijian”.
