Lawyers representing former Fijian Broadcasting Corporation Chief Executive Officer, Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and current Chief Financial Officer, Vimlesh Sagar are awaiting further details from the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption regarding the charge of causing a loss.

FICAC prosecutor Setefano Komaibaba informed the court that he requires 14 days to file a formal reply.

He also confirmed that FICAC has received letters of representation from both defence lawyers.

Magistrate Joseph Daurewa has granted one month for the parties to address the issues.

Earlier, Sagar's lawyer, Ritesh Singh requested more specific information about the alleged $84,000 loss to better understand the particulars of the charge.

The matter has been adjourned to August 13th.
