Radio Sargam personality Ronesh Lal has been honoured by the Fiji Muslim League for his outstanding coverage of the League’s major events and his dedication to serving the community.
Lal received a medal during the Fiji Muslim League Centennial 100 Years Celebration and Awards Night held at the Nadi Muslim College Events and Sports Centre last week.

He says the recognition is a proud milestone in his journey as a radio personality and a reminder that sincere hard work and community service are always valued.
Lal says he was recognised for delivering the best coverage on Radio Sargam, as well as for his hard work, dedication and commitment to the community.
He covered several significant Fiji Muslim League events, including the opening of the new Islamic Education and Vocational Centre in Sabeto, Nadi, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Birthday Celebration at Four R Stadium in Ba, and the Fiji Muslim League Centennial Celebration and Awards Night.
Lal says receiving the award while covering the centennial celebration came as a complete surprise and made the occasion even more special.
He has thanked the Fiji Muslim League for the recognition and for trusting him to bring important community events to Radio Sargam listeners and viewers across Fiji.
