Magistrate to rule this hour on FICAC's amended charges in Kamikamica trial

Suva Magistrate Charles Ratakele has adjourned the trial of former Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica for 45 minutes while he makes his decision on FICAC wanting to make amended charges now.

FICAC counsel Josann Pene asked if they can amend the charges this morning due to new information that they have just received this morning.

Defence counsel, Wylie Clarke objected to this saying that they have spent their time and the whole weekend preparing for this trial on the agreed bundles and documents agreed to from last week.

Kamikamica is charged with perjury and giving false information to a public servant.
