Manchester City have lodged an appeal after an independent commission found the club guilty of all charges relating to breaches of the Premier League's financial regulations.
The club says the commission's ruling contains what it describes as clear errors of law, principle and fact, and maintains it has evidence supporting its position.
City were found guilty of breaching financial regulations between the 2009-10 and 2017-18 seasons.
The independent panel found that City arranged what it described as sham contracts with several commercial partners to disguise more than FJ$2.46 billion in secret funding.
The Premier League says the club systematically broke its rules for nearly a decade.
Meanwhile, the Football Association says the verdict has significant implications for the integrity of the game and it is considering the decision and what action may be required.
Proceedings between Manchester City and the Premier League remain ongoing.
