Fatherhood is an honour and a responsibility.
This is a message shared by Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka as Fiji celebrates Father’s Day today, highlighting the responsibility of fathers to protect, provide, guide and set an example for their children.
He acknowledges that fathers will make mistakes but says one of the greatest lessons they can give their children is showing them how to acknowledge their mistakes, make amends and get back up again.
Rabuka says fathers play an important role in shaping the future of Fiji, with the values demonstrated in homes today reflected in the country children build tomorrow.
