He also expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the parents of the players, acknowledging the financial sacrifices they make to keep their sons involved in rugby.
Osborne says rugby is an expensive sport, and from transport and training to gear, meals and other expenses, the commitment of parents often goes unnoticed.
He says the team's achievement would not have been possible without their support and thanked every parent who continued to stand behind their child and the team.
The coach said special mention was also made of the Suva Grammar old scholars, whose continued support has meant so much to the programme.
He says their connection to the school and willingness to support the young players is a reminder that the bond with Suva Grammar does not end when students leave the school gates.
Coach Osborne also paid special tribute to the Suva Grammar Class of 2001 winning team, thanking them for standing by him throughout the years for their friendship, encouragement and unwavering support have been a source of strength through the many challenges and successes along the journey.
Osborne reserved special thanks for his family and his wife overseas, who have stood beside him and supported him throughout the years.
