Tracey Ann Farrington who is a textile designer with three decades of experience in fashion designing and bagged five awards at the National Fashion Awards last year, is expecting to win hearts through her design collection.

When fijivillage News asked her about the designs for the Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week show on Friday night for the Resort Cruise Show, Farrington said she and her team have worked for months to be able to bring the best for the audience.

Farrington says for Friday night, she is going for a natural show with black and cream colours that will bring out the beautiful energy of the 70s while Saturday night is all about bright colours.

The designer says the audience will be pleased to see some innovative designs.

She further says she started her journey in her 20s and has learnt so much under the guidance of the Fiji Fashion Week Managing Director, Ellen Whippy-Knight.

She won the Sustainable Impact and Development, Excellence in Fashion Commerce, People's Choice and Fiji Fashion Week Managing Director's Special Recognition awards last year.

Farrington adds the launch in Nukulau was an amazing experience for her as she was able to showcase the designs in a lovely and stunning environment.

Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week will be on Friday and Saturday night from 6pm at the Vodafone Arena.

Tickets range from $10 to $200 which can be purchased through M-PAiSA or from the Fiji Fashion Week office located at 7-11 Brewster Street, Suva.
