A man in his 20s was arrested shortly after a report of an alleged aggravated robbery in Sukanaivalu Road was received at the Nabua Police Station this morning.
Police say the suspect along with others had allegedly hired the victim’s taxi from Narere to Nabua, whereby upon arriving at their destination, they stole the victim’s watch and cash.
A team of officers were deployed and conducted enquiries which led to the arrest of the suspect at Sukanaivalu Road.
Police say the search is ongoing for the other suspects involved as investigations continue.
