Country music legend Kenny Rogers has died, aged 81.

His family announced that Rogers died "peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family.

Rogers was a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and was most well known for his song The Gambler.

His album The Gambler was considered one of the most influential albums of all time.
