Taveuni rugby player Inoke Ravuiwasa is grateful to God following their hard-fought 17-14 win over Lautoka last Saturday, but says there are still many areas the team needs to improve before their next game.
Ravuiwasa says the team had to fight hard and hold on during the final 10 minutes of the match to secure the win.
He says Taveuni has faced many challenges this season, but the players have continued to strive and push forward.
Ravuiwasa says they secured the victory because the players believed in the system and trusted their teammates on the field.
Taveuni has recorded three wins, five losses and one draw this season, with their victories coming against Lautoka, Ba and Nadroga.
Taveuni will now turn its attention to Suva, which it will host at Wairiki School Grounds this Saturday.
