ANZ streamlines transfers to Vodafone’s M-PAiSA for faster and efficient services

Fijians can take advantage of internet and mobile banking services with improved speed and efficiency in transferring funds from ANZ bank accounts to Vodafone’s M-PAiSA wallets, following ANZ’s announcement of their latest update.

Country Head ANZ Fiji, Rabih Yazbek, stresses that effective today, all transfers to M-PAiSA via ANZ Internet Banking and the ANZ Pacific App must be completed using the Transfers tab.

He adds that the Bill Payment option, which previously supported these transfers, will be decommissioned and will no longer be available for M-PAiSA transactions.

Yazbek emphasises that this simplified process means M-PAiSA transfers will be processed faster, getting funds into customers’ wallets with greater efficiency.

He encourages customers who regularly transfer to M-PAiSA to familiarise themselves with the steps under the Transfer tab before the 15th January changeover.

Yazbek adds that digital banking remains a cornerstone of ANZ’s financial accessibility strategy in the Pacific, adding that the ANZ Pacific App and Internet Banking platform help bridge geographic and infrastructure gaps, especially in remote areas.

For assistance with the transition, customers can send a Bank Mail message or contact the ANZ Contact Centre on 132 411.
