Seaqaqa farmer expects to make $10,000 profit this festive season

It will be a more exciting and joyful Christmas for Seaqaqa farmer, Mohammed Raiyaz as he is expecting to make a $10,000 profit from selling his goats during this festive season.

Raiyaz says he has more than 60 goats on his farm and will be selling 25 goats this year.

He says last year he sold goats from his home and this year he will be selling it at the Labasa Market where he will be able to attract more customers.

The 50-year-old farmer says with the money he receives he will buy more goats to increase his production, do more Christmas shopping for his family and also fence his farm for better security.

Riyaz also says that he has not received any funds or grants from the Ministry of Agriculture and hopes to be assisted in some way going into new year.
