Students of Naviti District School and Yasawa High School received much-needed assistance, including school merchandise, boots, school bags and stationery, from Vinaka Fiji.
Vinaka Fiji is the charitable arm of South Sea Cruises Group, established in 2010 to support and contribute to the sustainable development of communities across the Yasawa Islands.

The organisation says it is grateful to its generous supporters for their continued assistance to students in the Yasawa Islands.
It also encourages students to practise good stewardship, value what has been given to them, and make the most of these blessings.

Since its establishment, Vinaka Fiji has worked closely with communities to address key social, environmental, education, and livelihood needs. Our support focuses on creating opportunities that strengthen community resilience and improve the wellbeing of people living in the Yasawa Islands.
Key areas of support include:
Education and Scholarships – Providing scholarships and educational assistance to help children and young people access and continue their education.
Water and WASH Support – Improving access to safe and reliable water through initiatives such as the provision of water tanks and other water infrastructure for communities and schools.
Environmental Conservation – Supporting environmental restoration through reforestation, tree planting, nurseries, and other initiatives aimed at protecting the natural environment and strengthening community awareness of climate change.
Women’s Economic Empowerment – Supporting women’s groups through income-generating activities, skills development, equipment, and livelihood projects that enable women to become more economically independent.
Community Development – Working in partnership with communities to identify their priorities and support projects that contribute to long-term social and economic development.
