Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu says the Internal Affairs Department has been directed to quickly identify the person seen in the video.
Tudravu says if the individual is confirmed to be a police officer, authorities will ensure the safety of the child and take the necessary action.
He says such behaviour will not be tolerated and disciplinary and criminal investigations will be pursued where appropriate.
