Flying Fijians sharpen preparations in Cardiff as Ikanivere calls on Europe-based fans to show their support
The FIJI Water Flying Fijians are in full game-week mode in Cardiff, fine-tuning their preparations for Sunday's historic Nations Championship opener against Wales at Cardiff City Stadium.

The squad looked sharp at their training session at Cardiff Metropolitan University, focusing on a strong campaign start.

A late squad change sees tighthead prop Mesake Doge called up to replace Luke Tagi.

Captain and hooker Tevita Ikanivere has called on the Fijian diaspora across Europe to turn out in force and support their side this weekend.

Also in Cardiff, adding to the Fijian flavor, local artists Paradise Rootz, Primavia, and Georgina Ledua will perform pre-match.

The 9th ranked Flying Fijians will play 11th ranked Wales at 1.10am Sunday.

In other matches this weekend, New Zealand will play France at 7.10pm Saturday in Christchurch and Australia takes on Ireland at 10.10pm, while South Africa will face England at 3.40am Sunday with Argentina playing Scotland at 7.10am.
