The strong relationship between the US and Fiji will be celebrated tomorrow as the United States Embassy in Fiji hosts the American Showcase 2026, a family- and community-focused event celebrating 250 years of American independence.
Speaking to fijivillage News, U.S. Embassy Deputy Public Affairs Officer Ankhet Holmes says they will have elements of American culture and music, games and sports, and a chance to learn from American diplomats about the country.
She says people will also find out more about what the US Embassy is doing in Fiji.
Holmes, who has been holding the post for a year now, says it will be fun and that they have something for all ages.
She says people can come and expect a bit of America in Suva.
