Tailevu Rugby Football Union has raised $1,040 through its Blue Night Fundraising Event to help meet allowances for team officials and cover other operational expenses ahead of this afternoon’s Skipper Cup semi-final.
The Fresh Choice Tailevu Rugby Football Union says the funds will assist the committee in meeting its $100 allowance pledge for team officials, as well as supporting its rugby programmes and ongoing commitments.
The union has thanked supporters, families, friends and well-wishers who attended the fundraising event at Nausori Gym Hall.
Meanwhile, Tailevu will face Nadroga in the Skipper Cup semi-finals at HFC Bank Stadium today, while Nadi will host Naitasiri at King Charles Park.
Both semi-finals will kick off at 3pm.
