The Jean Smart extended a remarkable run, winning her fifth consecutive Emmy for her starring role as Deborah Vance in the comedy “Hacks.”
Matthew Rhys became the first man to win two lead actor categories in the same year for his work on “Widow’s Bay” and “The Beast in Me.”
Rhys wasn’t the only big winner from “Widow’s Bay” — the Apple TV horror-comedy swept both of the supporting role in a comedy categories, with wins for Kate O’Flynn and Stephen Root.
The show’s writer Katie Dippold also took home an award.
Noah Wyle won best lead actor in a drama for medical series “The Pitt,” which leads the pack with 25 nominations.
“Pluribus” could also be poised for a big night after Rhea Seehorn took home the award for her leading role in the twisty sci-fi drama.
