To strengthen financial management across its national organisation and affiliated institutions the Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha of Fiji has introduced a new Finance Guide and Policies.
The guide was officially soft-launched during the Sabha's 68th Annual General Meeting at the Girmit Multicultural Centre in Lautoka.
National President Dhirendra Nand says the new framework will provide clear financial procedures and practical guidance for the Sabha’s branches, schools, mandirs and affiliated organisations.
He says the initiative is part of the Sabha's efforts to strengthen transparency, accountability and good governance.
During the AGM discussion took place about Sabha’s financial position remains sound, allowing it to continue supporting its branches, schools, mandirs and various programmes.
Nand says financial and administrative affairs must continue to be managed in line with the Sabha’s Constitution, policies and established procedures.
It has been announced that renovation works at Sanatan Shiv Mandir, Samabula, are expected to commence soon, representing another important development for one of the Sabha’s key religious institutions.
The Sabha also intends to establish the working committee for other Sabha owned mandirs in Fiji as well.
