Nadi have claimed their sixth Skipper Cup win of the season after defeating a determined Ba side 57-36 at King Charles Park this afternoon.
Ba, who are sitting in eighth place, stepped up to the challenge and gave Nadi a run for their money.
The first half was physical, with both teams testing each other’s defence. However, Ba led Nadi 26-24 at halftime.
Nadi regrouped in the second half and went on a scoring spree, showing their opponents why they have been one of the standout teams in the competition this season.
In other results, Nadroga beat Malolo 31-22 at Lawaqa Park, Naitasiri lost to Navosa 36-29 at Ratu Cakobau Park, Tailevu beat Kadavu 30-10 at Burebasaga School Ground, and Rewa edged Taveuni 35-31 at Wairiki School Ground.
