This follows a report by fijivillage News highlighting the difficulties faced by the families, who claimed that their repeated calls for assistance from WAF had gone unanswered.
Residents have told fijivillage News that WAF officials visited them on Monday and delivered 2,000 litres of water.
They say another 2,000 litres of water was delivered today, bringing the total supply received to 4,000 litres.
The residents say WAF has also assured them that water will be provided whenever they contact the Authority to request assistance.
The families have also thanked WAF for their assistance.
