Cape Verde has drawn 2-all against Uruguay in their second FIFA World Cup match.
Kevin Pina fired Cape Verde into the lead in the 21st minute with an incredible direct free kick, scoring his nation's first ever goal at the World Cup.
But Uruguay responded with two goals, from Maxi Araujo and Agustin Canobbio, in the closing minutes of the first half to turn the scoreline around.
Cape Verde then answered with an equaliser of their own just after the hour mark, as Helio Varela capitalised on disastrous defending.
In other matches, Spain beat Saudi Arabia 4-nil, Belgium and Iran finished the match in a nil-all draw.
New Zealand will take on Egypt at 1pm.
