The 23 year old of Naleba, Labasa who went missing after he went out fishing on Friday was found dead yesterday afternoon.
Police say his body was found along the same location where he was last seen near the Naleba River at around 5pm on Friday.
Police say he had earlier gone out fishing at around 9am on Friday and after he failed to return a search was conducted.
Investigations continue.
