It will be a sight to remember for the people of Lakeba in Lau as Pacific Sun's first flight to the island in the Lau group commences from this morning.
Pacific Sun's first flight touched down at Vanuabalavu airport on December 23rd and with the Lakeba flight starting today CEO Manoa Kamikamica they expect all flights to be booked out going into the New Year.
And as Pacific Sun spreads its services around the country, Kamikamica said decisions are expected to be made soon on additional pilots and increasing their current fleet of air craft to meet the demands.
Pacific Sun has plans to start providing services into Gau and Cicia in the New Year.
