The three teenage boys who were adrift at sea for fifty days before being rescued are all breathing a sigh of relief as they are being looked after at the CWM Hospital.
Spokesperson for the Health Ministry, Peni Namotu said that the three: Samuel Perez, Filo Filo both 15 years old and 14 year old Edward Nasau were traumatised from their 50 days adrift at sea, however are glad to be on land again.
Stuff.co reported that the three teenagers disappeared between Atafu atoll north of Samoa and Tokelau on October 5th and started drinking seawater and had eaten just one seagull in the 50 days adrift.
The boys had drifted 1300 kilometres across empty and little travelled Pacific until they found themselves across the bow of the San Nikunau, a New Zealand based Tuna fishing boat.
Yesterday afternoon, the boys were brought onto land at the Fiji Navy Base in Lami.
