The Ministry of Education is again stressing that the term two and three school grants will only be given after they receive the audited financial reports of last year.
Permanent Secretary, Dr. Brij Lal said the Ministry will not send Education teams to schools in term two and three but they will just wait for the submission of the reports and AGM minutes.
Lal said the schools need to send the Ministry the audited term one financial report by 31st May.
He stressed that discrepancies in school accounts may prompt him to intervene and take action or legal proceedings against the school or individuals implicated.
