Health officials, FNU students get vaccination for Rubella

Health officials and Fiji National University students are getting vaccinated for Rubella in an effort to contain the disease.
Ministry spokesperson, Peni Namotu said the outbreak source was from the FNU students so they are ensuring that this air bourne disease does not spread further.
He said if people are careless by not taking medical attention, Rubella can be fatal as well.
There are 28 confirmed cases of Rubella confined to Suva area which includes 26 males and two females.
It has been found that people aged between 18 and 32 are suffering from Rubella.
