WAF complaints amongst top 5 received by Consumer Council

Complaints in relation to services provided by the Water Authority of Fiji were on the top five recurring complaints received by the Consumer Council of Fiji.
According to the council, from 1st January to 30th November last year, their Alternative Dispute Resolution division received 118 complaints relating to the services provided by the Water Authority of Fiji.
The council said the nature of complaints they have received are estimated billings, inheriting of previous owner’s dues, sudden increase in bills and meter disconnections.
We have sent questions to the Water Authority of Fiji who is yet to respond.
Meanwhile, other complaints received by the council are in relation to online shopping, mobile products, electronic goods and landlord and tenancy.
