Members of the legal fraternity along with the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau and the first lady gathered to pay their last respects to Suva lawyer Tevita Fa at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Tamavua this morning.
Speaking on behalf of the Fa family, younger brother of the late Tevita Fa , Isireli Fa said they are proud of the work and accomplishments of his brother in the legal fraternity in Fiji.
Speaking on behalf of the QVS Old Boys Association Poseci Bune shared the young memories he shared with Fa while they were attending School in 1965, saying Fa was already showing the personality and Characteristics of a lawyer as he always would defend the boys and Fa was a fearless, passionate defender of the underdogs.
He said Fa in his profession used Law as a tool to defend wholeheartedly and give a voice to the people.
The late Tevita Fa was one of the first generation of indigenous Fijians to become a lawyer in Fiji.
