Eight Fijian students will be pursuing their tertiary studies in Rabat, Morocco this year.
This afternoon the Public Service Permeant Secretary, Pramesh Chand officially handed over the student’s air fares and annual supplementary allowance paid by government.
Chand said this is the first time students from Fiji will be on scholarship in the Kingdom of the Republic of Morocco and is asking them not to jeopardize the opportunity for future students.
One of the eight students, Luke Vakalala who will be studying in the field of Dentistry said he had to sacrifice a lot but is very excited about the trip.
