Fiji’s Mosese Sorovi who was to fight against Australia’s Peter Brennan for the World Boxing Foundation and Universal Boxing Council title fight has publicly apologized for pulling out in the 11th hour.
According to Sorovi, the reason why he did not reveal his injury earlier was because he did not want the programme to be cancelled.
Australian Peter Brennan fought Fatu Tuimanono and the referee had to stop the fight after Tuimanono failed to continue after the 5th round.
Meanwhile, Junior Farzan Ali defeated Philippines Allan Jay on a unanimous points decision to claim the World Boxing Foundation Inter Continental title.
