Chief Registrar Major Ana Rokomokoti said the decision made by the Independent Legal Services Commission on Nausori lawyer, Abhay Singh, is an important one as it establishes certain laws and principles that act as a guide to all legal practitioners.
Rokomokoti said it would certainly demand that Legal Practitioners maintain a high standard of conduct.
The Chief Registrar is currently pursuing another complaint against Singh that remains pending before the Commission.
Meanwhile, Lawyer Abbay Singh can no longer practice as a lawyer after he was found guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct and professional misconduct by the Independent Legal Services Commission.
