Fiji 7s coach urges caution during Xmas season

Fiji 7s coach urges caution during Xmas season
Digicel Fiji 7s coach Iliesa Tanivula said that all sportsmen, irrespective of what sports they play, should be very cautious during the Christmas and New Years break.

Tanivula made the comments as all athletes will be tucking into heavy lunches tomorrow and most will find it hard to recover on time to their training schedule.

He added it is important that the 7s players keep to their schedule so they are well prepared before the Uprising 7s on January 21.

Teams from Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, New Caledonia, Samurai International, New Zealand Maori, US Grizzlies, France Development and Ponsonby Club, alongside two local clubs, Uprising 7's team and Nadroga will be participating in the two day meet.

The Uprising Fiji International 7s will be held on the 21st and 22nd of next month at the TFL Stadium.
