Digicel Fiji 7s coach Iliesa Tanivula is adamant his boys will have to prove themselves at the Uprising Fiji International 7s tournament next month to book their spot for Wellington.
Tanivula knows the tournament will be tough after the New Zealand Maori have confirmed their participation and all eyes will be on Fiji as they will use this tournament to prepare for the next leg in New Zealand.
The boys will be playing against some big names like, New Zealand Maori captain, Matua Parkinson, Ed Cocker, Scott Curry, Rocky Khan and Richie Ah Chong from Counties Manukau.
So far teams like the Grizzlies from the US, a France development team, the New Caledonia national 7s team, two teams from New Zealand, the Army Green and Police Blue 7s team from Fiji have all confirmed their participation at the two-day meet.
The Uprising Fiji International 7s will be held on the 21st and 22nd of next month at the TFL Stadium.
