Father of 2 jailed for 11 years
A 25 year old father of two was today handed a jail term of 11 years by the Lautoka High Court after he pleaded guilty to three counts of robbery with violence.

Judge Justice Priyantha Nawana decided to sentence Isei Turagakula to 11 years after taking into account his mitigation that he is remorseful and wants to reform himself.

Turagakula, who is already serving 12 and a half years imprisonment will serve his sentence concurrently and can only apply for parole after serving 10 years.

He assisted his accomplices in robbing three service stations in Lautoka on May 27th, 2007.
