Semiji Puamau, Elizabeth Sautu, Koroi Lakokilepanoni, Bernard Vukivuki, and Timoci Belo appeared before Suva High Court Judge Justice Usaia Ratuvili this morning.
The State informed the High Court that it intends to call 45 witnesses.
However, the prosecution also asked for a mention date to allow them time to consider reducing the number of witnesses.
The High Court granted the request, with Justice Ratuvili adjourning the matter to November 26th to allow the State to review its witness list and for a trial date to be set.
The bail of all five accused has been extended.
