Key players dropped from Futsal squad

The National Futsal team has suffered a setback in its preparation for the OFC Futsal Championship as a few renowned players have been dropped due to injuries.

It has been confirmed that Sandeep Nair has a groin injury and will be replaced by Nasinu's Vikash Reddy.

Team Manager, Krishneel Sharma confirmed that goalkeeper, Thomas Costa is also carrying an ankle injury and they are now trying to bring in Rewa team goalkeeper, Simione Tamanisau.

Meanwhile, Labasa team striker, Ilisoni Logaivou is carrying a knee problem and is likely to be dropped from the Futsal team, to be replaced by Dinesh Mudaliar.

The 2010 OFC Futsal Championship will start on the 8th of next month at the Vodafone Arena and Fiji's first match will be against Tahiti.
