A decision will be made this week on whether teams travelling in from abroad will be offered discounted fares to take part in the inaugural Uprising Fiji International 7s.
The organizers have revealed they are currently in talks with Air Pacific to be able to get discounted airfares for a few teams.
Organizing Committee’s Randall Kamea revealed that teams like Samoa, Tonga and Manawatu are asking for discounted fares and a decision will be made this week.
So far teams like the Grizzlies from the US, a France development team, the New Caledonia national 7s team and two teams from New Zealand are some of the overseas teams expected to feature at the International 7s next month.
The Uprising Fiji International 7s will be held on the 21st and 22nd of next month at the TFL Stadium.
