Flash flood warning for Northern Division

The Nadi Weather office has confirmed that there is a possibility of flash flooding of low lying areas in the Northern Division today.
The Duty forecasters say a trough of low pressure North of Fiji is gradually drifting south and is also expected to affect the group from later today.
Some showers and possible thunderstorms are expected for Vanua Levu, including Labasa, Savusavu, Taveuni, Lau and Lomaiviti groups, the interior and eastern parts of the larger islands.
According to the forecaster more rainfall heavier at times is expected for tomorrow and people living in low lying areas have been urged to take necessary precautions.
